From August 1st to 10th, 2025, Lorient becomes the beating heart of Celtic cultures from both sides of the Atlantic. For its 54th edition, the Lorient Interceltic Festival celebrates its American cousins: Quebec, Acadia, Louisiana, Boston, New York… This year, artists from across the Atlantic are in the spotlight, with their infectious energy, warm accents, and revisited traditions!
It's the world's largest gathering dedicated to Celtic cultures: the Lorient Interceltic Festival welcomes nearly 950,000 visitors every summer!

Lorient Interceltic Festival: A festive program combining tradition and modernity

For ten days and ten nights, the city will resonate with the rhythm of more than 300 shows, concerts, festoù-noz, music competitions, conferences, and exhibitions.
More than 4,500 artists are expected to bring this great, multifaceted popular festival to life.

• Sunday, August 3 at 10 a.m.: Grand Parade of Celtic Nations, which brings together more than 80,000 spectators in the streets of Lorient every year.
• Sunday, August 3: Concert by Alan Stivell
• Monday, August 4: Luz Casal in concert
• Saturday, August 9: Camac Celtic Harp Trophy, which brings together musicians from all the Celtic nations. Sunday, August 10: Breton Athletics Championship
